Charakteristik:
You planned to do the Cusella canyon but it rained during the night? Then Casmera is the perfect river for you. The long marches in the wild are occasionally rewarded by rare verticals. The C20 is very beautiful, but with high water level is not to be underestimated! Before of the final cascade a socket draws all the water of the stream, only with strong flow and dirty bridle some water will pass.

The most convenient parking is located in Garabiolo (SP5), at the end of the village coming from Maccagno (46°03'15.6"N 8°46'00"E).
Zustieg (10 min):
Continue along the paved road in the direction of Cadero until the road bridge over the stream (46,03,24,9"N 8,45,56,1"E),
about 10 minutes. Descend in the river directly from upstream side of the bridge (approx. 15-20 meters).
Tour (1 h 30):
01- C15-20 (from the bridge)
02- C20 (MC 1sx + 2sx)
03- C5 (1dx)
04- C12 (1dx)
05- C10 + C40 (from the water uptake + 2sx)
Rückweg (45 min):
Once descended the final waterfall, climb up the slope on the left bank, in correspondence of the sign "sudden flood danger". Arrived on the path return to the bridge over the stream, pass it and climb the metal ladder. Then follow the obvious track marked with red and white CAI signs that leads to the village. From there follow the road to the right
back to the car park.
