Von Udine westlich auf der 464 nach Maniago und weiter nach Montereale an der Cellina (57 km). Von hier auf der 251 in Richtung Barcis (Longarone). Ein Auto am Zustiegsparkplatz des Torr. Alba abstellen (von Montereale kommend nach dem ersten langen Tunnel re. ab und wieder re. unter der 251 in westl. Richtung hindurch. Nach der Unterführung li. oberhalb des Torr. Alba Parkbucht).\nMit dem zweiten Fahrzeug 100 m nach dem zweiten langen Tunnel (insgesamt dem dritten Tunnel) li. ab und auf einem Damm über den Stausee Lago di Barcis. Hier gute Parkmöglichkeit.

From Udine west on the 464 to Maniago and continue to Montereale on the Cellina (57 km). From here take the 251 towards Barcis (Longarone). Leave a car at the access parking lot of Torr. Alba (coming from Montereale, after the first long tunnel, turn right and then right again under the 251 in a westerly direction. After the underpass turn left above the Torr. Alba parking bay).\nWith the second vehicle 100 m after the second long tunnel (in total the third tunnel) turn left and on a dam over the reservoir Lago di Barcis. Here good parking.

Vom Parkplatz am Stausee in westlicher Richtung die Straße entlang bis zur Staumauer. Will man nicht die gesperrte Eisentreppe an der Staumauer hinab, so geht man von dort in östlicher(!) Richtung auf einem Steig hinauf auf den Bergrücken zwischen Cellina und Stausee. Nach ca. 100 m zieht ein kleiner Pfad re. in einem Waldkar hinunter und erreicht nach einer kurzen Rechtsquerung und einem weiteren weglosen Kar den Fluss.

From the parking lot at the reservoir in a westerly direction along the road to the dam wall. If you don't want to go down the closed iron stairs at the dam wall, you go from there in an easterly(!) direction on a path up to the ridge between Cellina and the reservoir. After about 100 m, a small path on the right descends in a wooded cirque and reaches the river after a short traverse to the right and another trackless cirque.

Abwechselnd Lauf- und Schwimm-Strecken.\nIm Notfall (Staudamm oberhalb!) sind einige Ausstiegsmöglichkeiten zur Straße eröffnet.\nDas Wasser ist sehr kalt - Schwimmstrecken bis zu 100 m.\nOrograf. li. bei etwa der Hälfte der Wegstrecke zieht sich li. oberhalb das alte Flussbett unter gewaltigen Felsbrocken neben dem Fluss dahin (sehenswert!); der Beginn wird markiert durch einen natürlichen Felsbogen (Felsentor).\nVerbindung mit Torr. Alba/Torrente Molassa möglich, vgl. dort.

Alternating walking and swim routes.\nIn case of emergency (dam above!) some exit possibilities to the road are opened.\nThe water is very cold - swim distances up to 100 m.\nOrograph. left. at about half of the route, the old river bed stretches along under huge boulders next to the river (worth seeing!); the beginning is marked by a natural rock arch (rock gate).\nConnection with Torr. Alba/Torrente Molassa possible, cf. there.

Nach dem Zufluss des Torr. Alba von li. 100 m weiter im Cellina abwärts und dann li. hinauf zur alten Straße entlang dem Cellina. Hier li. und dann re. ab auf die Straße, die den Torr. Alba begleitet. Bei der T-Kreuzung wieder re. und durch das Tunnel zurück zum Auto.\nAlternativ kann man auch den Torrente Alba aufwärts, wobei sich beim Zusammenfluss Alba/Molassa eine zusätzliche Rückstiegsalternative eröffnet.

After the inflow of the Torr. Alba from the left, descend 100 m. in the Cellina and then go up on the left to the old road along the Cellina. Here turn left and then right onto the road that accompanies Torr. Alba. At the T-junction again to the right and through the tunnel back to the car.\nAlternatively, you can also go up the Torrente Alba, opening an additional alternative return at the confluence Alba/Molassa.
