Von der kleinen Ortschaft Weißenbach fährt man neben der Saalach auf der B311 (Pinzgauer Str.) ca. 3km Richtung Lofer (mehrere Radarkästen!) bis man auf der li Straßenseite eine kleinen rosa Kapelle sieht --> gleich in der Nähe gibt es eine kleine Ausweiche mit begrenzter Parkmöglichkeit oder man Parkt neben dem Radweg/Holzlagerplatz (Zufahrt über Feldweg bei Kapelle)

From the small village Weißenbach you drive next to the Saalach on the B311 (Pinzgauer Str.) about 3km in the direction of Lofer (several radar boxes!) until you see a small pink chapel on the left side of the road --> just nearby there is a small turnout with limited parking or you park next to the bike path / wood storage area (access via dirt road near chapel)

Vom Parkplatz aus in nördlicher Richtung am Radweg entlang --> vorbei an den Bienenhäuschen und einer Brücke (Dießbach) auf 660Hm --> nach der Brücke beginnt der Wanderweg 32 Ri. Kalbrunnalm, Ingolstätterhaus (Dießbachsteig) --> ab hier steil bergauf --> nach einigen Höhenmetern kommt eine große Felswand --> dem Weg weiter re folgen und die nächsten, nach einer Eisenleiter kommenden Steilstufen überwinden --> nach dem steilsten Stück geht es nur noch kurz bergauf bis man vor einem Feld mit gr. Felsbrocken steht (ca. 1230Hm) --> hier den Weg re. verlassen und den mit Felsen durchsetzen lichten Wald leicht abwärts queren --> in kürze steht man vor einer steilen Böschung --> hier li halten und dem nur sehr schlecht sichtbaren Pfad zu einer geeigneten Abstiegsstelle bis zum Bach folgen --> hat man den Baumstumpf mit rostigem Sägeblatt gefunden ist man schon fast am Einstieg angekommen--> dieser liegt nur etwas oberhalb vom Sägeblatt wo auch wesentlich einfacher in den Bach eingestiegen werden kann --> Einstieg auf ca. 1100Hm

From the parking lot in a northerly direction along the cycle path --> past the bee houses and a bridge (Dießbach) at 660Hm --> after the bridge the hiking trail 32 starts in the direction of Kalbrunnalm, Ingolstätterhaus (Dießbachsteig) --> from here steeply uphill --> after a few meters in altitude there is a large rock face --> follow the path further to the right. Die Schlucht ist sehr abgeschieden, hat viele, sehr rutschige Passagen und über 20 Abseilstellen (ist daher nicht für Anfänger geeignet) --> geübte Canyonauten könnten jedoch nach Regentagen und etwas Sonne eine schöne Ganztagesstour vorfinden --> im gesamten Schluchtenverlauf gibt es mehrere Klemmböcke von denen man sich des Öfteren im Überhang abseilt --> das Seil sollte nicht voreilig abgezogen werden, da man bei der Ankunft nicht immer einen Standplatz vorfindet-->die meisten Abseilstellen sind nicht höher als 20m --> ab Mittag scheint die Sonne am besten in die Südwestlich ausgerichtete Schlucht -->Schlucht ist zwar kein Highlight aber auf jeden Fall lohnenswert --> nur der letzte hohe Wasserfall (50m) wurde bei unserer Begehung als nicht sehr lohnenswert empfunden (kann zur Not auch li. umgangen/abgestiegen werden)

The canyon is very secluded, has many, very slippery passages and over 20 rappel points (therefore not suitable for beginners) --> experienced canyoneers could, however, find a nice all-day tour after rainy days and some sunshine --> there are several clamps throughout the canyon from which you often rappel in the overhang --> the rope should not be pulled off prematurely, as you will not always find a place to stand on arrival --> most abseiling points are no higher than 20m --> from midday the sun shines best in the south-west facing canyon --> the canyon is not a highlight but is definitely worthwhile --> only the last high waterfall (50m) was not considered very worthwhile during our ascent (can also be bypassed/descended on the left if necessary). can be bypassed/descended if necessary)

Nach dem Finalwasserfall kann man die letzte Stufe li umgehen (abklettern) oder re. abseilen --> auf ca. 710Hm re aus der Schlucht aussteigen und dem kl. Pfad zum Weg folgen --> in Kürze erreicht man wieder den Radweg den man dann zurück zum Parkplatz folgt.

After the final waterfall you can bypass the last step on the left (rappel) or downclimb on the right --> at about 710Hm on the right get out of the canyon and follow the small path to the path --> shortly you will reach the bike path again which you then follow back to the parking lot.
