Heute nochmals begangen. Wir sind früh los und somit war auch fast kein Tourist in den schönen Gumpen. Die Hippies sind natürlich immer noch da gewesen. Also früh starten, dann hat man die Gumpen für sich alleine. Alles tip top. Am Anfang nur 1 Haken, dann doppelte Haken oder Kette. Schöne Halbtagestour.

Went again today. We set off early and so there were hardly any tourists in the beautiful pools. The hippies were still there, of course. So start early, then you have the pools to yourself. Everything was tip top. At the beginning only 1 anchor, then double anchors or chain. Nice half-day tour.

Alles tip top. 2te Begehung in diesem Urlaub. Bootstransfer am Ammos Strand organisiert. Sowas erlebt man halt nur hier. Alle Stände mit 2 Ringen oder Kette. Einmaliges Erlebnis. Ein must do auf der Insel.

Everything tip top. 2nd visit on this vacation. Boat transfer organized at Ammos beach. You can only experience something like this here. All stands with 2 rings or chain. A unique experience. A must do on the island.

Da uns bei der letzten Begehung das Seil beim Abziehen stecken bliebt, sind wir nochmals rein. Das ist bei der 3-fach Sequenz passiert beim 2ten Abseiler. Am Besten einen ordentlichen Ruck geben, kurz bevor das Seil aus dem Ring springt. Das hat sich in einem Mini-Siphon verklemmt und konnt nur sehr schwer befreit werden, aber machbar. Sonst eine großartige Schlucht. 2 Autos erforderlich bzw. Shuttle. Zufahrtsstraße sehr schlecht und nur mit hohem Auto erreichbar.

As the rope got stuck on the last ascent when we were pulling it off, we went in again. This happened on the triple sequence on the second rappel. It's best to give it a good jerk just before the rope jumps out of the ring. It got stuck in a mini-siphon and was very difficult to free, but doable. Otherwise a great canyon. 2 cars or shuttle required. Access road very bad and only accessible by high car.

Alles tip top. Eine unglaubliche und großartige Spaßschlucht (Rutschen und Sprünge, teilweise wiederholbar) am Anfang, dann etwas technischer und nur Abseiler am Ende. Bitte genau die Begehung von der Bina am 25.5.2024 studieren und genau so machen (Danke Bina). Für mich das Highlight. Wir waren zu 12 (davon 2 Kinder) und in ca. 9 Stunden Auto-Auto (mit vielen Wiederholungen einiger Stellen und ausgiebiger Pause).

Everything tip top. An incredible and great fun gorge (slides and jumps, partly repeatable) at the beginning, then a bit more technical and only rappel at the exit. Please study Bina's ascent on 25.5.2024 and do it exactly the same way (thanks Bina). The highlight for me. There were 12 of us (including 2 children) and in about 9 hours by car (with many repetitions of some places and extensive breaks).

Alles tip top! Er hat das Potenzial stellenweise ein großartiger Fun-Canyon (Rutschen/Sprünge) zu sein, wenn man die Stellen gut kennt. Die Rutschen sind großartig und teilweise über 10 m gut machbar bzw. von ganz oben. Einiges an Gehgände. Es gibt viele leicht ausgetretene Pfade neben dem Bach, die das Vorankommen erleichtern. Sehr griffiges Gestein. Ca. in der Mitte ist oro links ein Holzschild, mit „Notausstieg möglich „. Alle Abseiler mit doppelten U-Bügel (neuwertig). Schöne Sinterstellen.

Everything is tip top! It has the potential to be a great fun canyon in places (slides/jumps) if you know the spots well. The slides are great and some of them can be done over 10 m or from the very top. Some walking. There are many well-trodden paths next to the stream that make progress easier. Very grippy rock. Approximately in the middle is a wooden sign ortographic left, with "emergency exit possible". All rappels with double U-bolts (as good as new). Beautiful sintered sections.

Eine tolle Spielwiese für Rutsch- und Sprungfans. Gefühlt bis max. 6 m zum springen, wenn mann etwas riskant auf ein paar Felsen klettert, eventuell noch höher. Alles was nach Rutsche oder Sprung aussieht, ist ohne Seil machbar. Vorsicht beim Sprung unter der Brücke, ist etwas seicht, aber springbar. Wir sind noch etwas weiter gegangen und dann oro links beim Fixseil raus (ca. 150m weiter ist noch eine Abseilstelle mit schönem Becken, dann Ausstieg etwas steiler oro links). Tolle Schlucht für Kinder und Anfänger, aber auch für erfahrene Canyonauten ein großer Spaß. Tolle Farben in Schlucht, wenn am Nachmittag begangen. Ich würde es als mini Barbaira ohne der Junglepassage beschreiben. Jeder Sprung oder Rutsche mit doppeltem U-Haken ausgestattet.

A great playground for slide and jump fans. It feels like you can jump up to a maximum of 6 m, possibly even higher if you take a risk and climb a few rocks. Anything that looks like a slide or jump can be done without ropes. Be careful when jumping under the bridge, it's a bit shallow, but jumpable. We went a little further and then ortographic left at the fixed ropes. Great canyon for children and beginners, but also great fun for experienced canyoneers. Great colors in canyon when walked in the afternoon. I would describe it as a small barbaira without the jungle passage. Each jump or slide equipped with double U-anchors (like Bachab standard).

Ein paar Stunden später nochmals begangen, da wir zwei Freunde getroffen haben. Und die Sonne kam auch raus und machte aus der Schlucht eine 5 von 5. Was für ein Erlebnis. Tolles Farbenspiel.

A few hours later we went again, as we met two friends. And the sun came out too, making the canyon a 5 out of 5. What an experience. Great play of colors.

Leider viel zu viel Wasser für uns. Das Foto ist von der Teufelsbrücke. Aber eine nette Wanderung war es trotzdem. Wir kommen wieder…

Unfortunately far too much water for us. The photo is from the Devil's Bridge. But it was still a nice hike. We'll be back...

Alle Stände tip top. Rutschen und Sprünge gehen aktuell sehr gut. Toller Bach, etwas rutschig. Wasserstand genau wie am Foto beim Ausstieg.

All stands are tip top. Slides and jumps are currently going very well. Great stream, a bit slippery. Water level exactly as in the photo at the exit.

Alles tip top. Kommt auf die Liste meiner top 10 Schluchten (nicht wegen dem Spaßfaktor, sondern wegen der Schönheit und Einzigartigkeit). Perfekte Anfängerschlucht. Die Sprünge muss man nicht machen, einfach durchwandern.

Everything top notch. On the list of my top 10 canyons (not because of the fun factor, but because of the beauty and uniqueness). Perfect gorge for beginners. You don't have to do the jumps, just hike through.

Alles tip top. Wenig Mühl und fast kein Gestank. Großartige Schlucht. Sprünge und Rutschen gehen einige. Guter Wasserstand.

Alles tip top. So einen tollen Wasserstand wie heute, hatten wir noch nie. Wirklich super und keine Probleme. Wir waren zu zweit und waren in 2:45 durch, ohne Zustieg (dieser dauert ca. 1 Stunde). Hinter uns war eine große italienische Gruppe, die wir am Einstieg getroffen haben. Ich hoffe es geht allen gut, da der gelbe Heli über der Schlucht geflogen ist…

Everything was tip top. We've never had such a great water level as today. Really super and no problems. There were two of us and we were through in 2:45, without access (this takes about 1 hour). There was a large Italian group behind us that we met at the entry point. I hope everyone is okay, as the yellow helicopter flew over the canyon...
