Relatively long canyon, open and sunny. ATTENTION! FLOOD WAVE ! After prolonged and heavy rain, the automatic flap in Wienerbruck dam can open! Be sure to check before the tour whether the water level is approx. 1.5m below the flap (recommendation from an employee of the power station), or call the power station directly. Stands in good condition, last stand is missing - wood entanglement, we rappelled from a reepschnur with Rapidglieder. Canyon is very clogged with wood and gravel - a lot of climbing. We didn't find the right entry, we went into the creek bed. MAUT: car 16€, exit about 3km from the tollbooth. You can also stop. With time reserve count - to 5 we have needed 6 hours.

In our tour little water (after prolonged dry period).We got on just before the bridge, to 2 tour 4 hours. 2x to abseil, 1x in the gap (is enough a 20m rope), if bypassed right, just after the place down from tree rope (50m rope or divide on 2x). 2nd time a 20m rope is also enough. Very slippery rock. 1x to jump cca 3m (in the "Klamm"), otherwise smaller jumps. 6m jump we have not found. Pool was gravelled, jumping not possible. Hooks in good condition. Little used.

Canyon is accessible only after registration at the Ybbstaller Alpen and after payment of fee. Limited number of people/day, only certain days in the year accessible. A lot of traffic from local companies.

Narrow cold canyon with challenging approach - approach route partly crossed by trees. A lot of cragging at the start (more than in 2022), some of the stances rusty and bolts loose. But in July 2023 still ok for abseiling. Watch out for loose stones when abseiling.

This tour with 2 locals gone, stands were in perfect condition. On the tour there is a waterfall with clamping block that should be abseiled in any case on the outside. Water level can be seen from below at the last 120m waterfall. By car or on foot (about 1 hour). Last waterfall can be divided into 2 parts, intermediate level on the left, protected from the main stream. Pay attention to rope friction and rope pulling. Very impressive tour with views of the 4 thousand :)
