Sehr kurz und leider bei unserer Begehung einigermaßen rutschig. Ein quicky wenn man noch schnell am Ende des Tages was machen will.
Very short and unfortunately quite slippery during our ascent. A quicky if you want to do something quickly at the exit of the day.

Seit den starken Regenfällen Ende Oktober liegt wieder deutlich mehr Unrat im Canyon. Ein Jammer, dass die Locals Ihre schöne Insel so verschandeln. Wir haben im Canyon im Bauverhau ein wenig Sägearbeit verrichtet. Die Verankerungen sind alle vorhanden, aber mit ein paar zusätzlichen Haken könnte man starke Seilreibung vermeiden.
Since the heavy rains at the exit of October, there has been a lot more garbage in the canyon. It's a shame that the locals are spoiling their beautiful island like this. We did a bit of sawing work in the canyon in the construction area. The anchors are all in place, but a few additional anchors would help to avoid strong rope friction.

Great descent to do in full with 2 cars and sunset on Teide on the return trip. We entered the canyon at 1450, exited 680. In the upper part a few natural anchors and spits (could be completed), lower part has been recently rebolted with extra 12mm steel anchors, on top of the glue-in bolts. We went through with machete + drill. Full descent takes 6-8hrs + car logistics.

Etwas mehr Wasser als vor zwei Wochen. Noch kein Eis in der Schlucht. Zustieg auch kein Problem.
A little more water than two weeks ago. Still no ice in the canyon. Access also no problem.

Collector canyon. Neighbouring Volcán canyon has the better scenery and is less monotonous. Also in Herques inf. the walking is less teduous. Given the few repetitions some downclimbing is unbolted & some single anchors remain (single steel maillons).
