Coming from St. Johann or Ellmau/Kirchberg cross Kitzbühel in southern direction, pass the tennis stadium and then turn right at the next traffic circle. Follow the signs to "Hotel Hahenhof". Follow this road to its exit. This is also the starting and ending point of the tour. Here is a small power station and a fountain.\nParking possibility possibly at a small steep spur road that leads to the creek (max. 2 cars) or ask at the house.

The path begins directly at the fountain and winds steeply up in serpentines (direction SW) to the mountain inn "Einsiedelei". From there, follow the forest road to the south (left), which leads to a path that leads directly to a large boulder barrier (dam) (sign "Danger of life"). Entry and first rappel directly from the bedload barrier.

Good water level after the rain. Very slippery canyon in beautiful red rock. However, a lot of wood in the canyon, you can get through but already disturbing. The first 3 rappels top new with chain anchors, but then only old single hooks or chain anchors. On the last 17m rappel a new anchor was placed on the far left. (But could also be bypassed on the right)
