Auf der Straße zwischen Schleching (DE) und Kössen (AT) könen wir auf dem Wanderparklatz von Klobenstein parken.

On the road between Schleching (DE) and Kössen (AT) we can park at the hiking parking lot of Klobenstein.

Wir folgen zunächst dem Wanderweg hinunter bis zur Ache. Dort gehen wir über die Hängebrücke und steigen über den gut ausgebauten Weg auf. An der Abzweigung gehen wir links weiter, bis wir zur Aussichtsplatform angelangt sind. Nach weiteren 100m gehen wir über einen schlecht erkennbaren Trampelpfad in den Wald rechts hinein, bis wir am Bach und auch direkt beim ersten Abseiler angelangt sind

We first follow the hiking trail down to the Ache. There we cross the suspension bridge and ascend along the well-maintained path. At the junction, we continue left until we reach the viewing platform. After another 100m, we take a poorly recognizable trail into the forest on the right until we reach the stream and the first rappel

Wir starten mit einem 7m Abseiler (Expansionshaken, links) und klettern weiter ab zu einer "Stahlseil-Brücke". Nach einer längeren und rutschigen Abkletter-Stelle, welche unter einer Holzbrücke des Wanderwegs hergeht, kommen wir zu einem Seilgeländer (Stahl, rechts), wo sich am Ende ein ca. 35m Abseiler (Kettenstand-Expansion, rechts) befindet. Beim Abziehen des Seils bleibt gerne mal das Seil in einem V hängen, weshalb sich die Nutzung des Kettenstandes nach ca. 1/3 des Abseilers (Kettenstand-Expansion, links) lohnen würde. Am Ende der Tour kann man nach einer kurzen Schwimmstrecke bei der Hängebrücke an der klobensteiner Bucht aussteigen, oder noch eine Rafting-/Kajak-Tour auf der Ache in Richtung Schleching machen.

We start with a 7m rappel (expansion bolt, left) and continue climbing down to a "steel rope bridge". After a longer and slippery downclimb, which goes under a wooden bridge of the hiking trail, we come to a rope traverse (steel, right), where there is an approx. 35m rappel (chain anchor expansion, right) at the exit. When pulling off the rappel, the rope often gets caught in a V, which is why it is worth using the chain anchor after approx. 1/3 of the rappel (chain anchor expansion, left). At the exit of the tour, you can get off at the suspension bridge at the Klobenstein bay after a short swim, or take a rafting/kayaking tour on the Ache towards Schleching.

Wir folgen dem gleichen Wanderweg, wie beim Zustieg bis zum Parkplatz.

We follow the same hiking trail as for access to the parking lot.

Normalerweise sehr wenig Wasser, aber besonders bei/nach Regen, kann der Syphon der Quelle übergehen und dann ist schlagartig mit viel bis sehr viel Wasser zu rechnen.

Normally very little water, but especially during/after rain, the siphon of the spring can overflow and then suddenly a lot to very much water can be expected.
