15min From the freeway exit Tarvisio Nord take the direction Passo del Predil. After the village of Cave del Predil Rabil, turn right in the direction of Sella Nevea/Lago del Predil. From here follow the road for about 3.2 km until you reach a large turnout on the right with an old cannon and position. Park here directly in front of the position (exit).

25min Just before the parking lot on the orographic left side of the stream, an inconspicuous path leads into the forest. Follow this steeply uphill to 1130Hm. Here you leave the main path on the left, go up a bit more and then look for a suitable descent to the stream at 1120Hm.

approx. 1,5h At the beginning, large rock slabs must be descended/climbed down. Arrived at the first step is rappelled left from a tree. After the steps the canyon becomes narrower for a short time. Here must be downclimbed due to missing pitons. For another small 10m step, however, one finds an old single piton on the left. After that you have to downclimb again. In a short time you are in front of the highest rappel point of about 40m. The belaystation is on the right side and is very exposed. To reach it, it is best to set up a removable rope traverse. The rappel can be done as a whole on the left side or you can rappel to another chain anchor on the right side and thus divide the rappel. Then follow the stream for about 200m to the parking lot (exit) at 980m.
