At this time of year practically no sun in the canyon; therefore a lot of ice or stones covered with an ice film,...so the bit slippery is already the lesser evil. Because of the constant "danger of slipping" it was exhausting, but once again it was fun

This is the first time we have climbed the upper part and certainly not the last. We always added a second bolt to the old single hooks. The intermediate level at c55 could be improved at low water. We had a high water level and it was really worthwhile to walk up the 15 minutes.

Walked the canyon today. There's generally a lot of water in the whole area at the moment. But the Bianco is not a problem at all. On the contrary, when there is a lot of water, the Rio Bianco is just right. The next visitors should take rapid limbs and sling material with them. There are many slings without rapid links and some of them need to be replaced.

If you didn't go over to the chain on the SOS8, but went straight down through the water from the 2 glued anchors (approx. 20m), it's much more advisable. You come to a pool and there you rappel another 10m. We renewed this 10m rappel with a ring because the other anchor was already loose. Everything else is superiore set up

Walked the stream including the upper part. We added a fixed rope on the way down to the upper entry. After the upper part we still have the last 3 jumps from Rio Amula. For this you go up about 30 meters ortographic right from Rio Amula. Then on to the lower part of the Leale. Very nice, all stands tip top

Although the access road has a no-driving sign, you can still drive all the way back. This is also recommended because it goes very far in. However, you should have a car with a high wheelbase because the tracks are very deep. The path at the beginning is difficult to see because there are still a lot of trees lying around. The tour itself starts off nicely and develops really beautifully. Especially when the underground spring comes in and cools the water down considerably. Geologically, the tour is also highly recommended. All in all, a beautiful tour that is highly recommended with clear water.

Today we climbed Cima Montagna - Bosco Bello - Valmontina. Did not descend at 1270m as described but continued up to 1400m until you can see the streambed directly. Here you have to descend the dry streambed until you can't go any further and then descend ortographic right for another 100m. The entry to the upper part is at around 1200 m, where you can hear water for the first time and where a rich underground spring flows into the previously dry canyon. The ascent, including the descent to 1200, takes about 2 hours. The upper part is a beautiful open canyon with some nice narrow passages. The upper part is almost entirely equipped with rings and 8mm bolts. It would be a pity to skip the upper part because otherwise you descend 300m when you turn off at 1270 and actually miss most of the cima montagna. Bosco Bello was wonderful white limestone blue pools just super. The canyon is really beautiful in the sun. If you don't want to do Valmontina, as soon as you see the bridge over the Bosco ello you have to go up ortographic left and must not rappel any further, the last 3 steps in the Boscobello! If you go up here ortographic left you can also check the water of the Valmontina. Valmontina is an aquatic great canyon with few narrow sections or dangerous passages. In total, we needed 5 hours for the 3 parts. We can't agree with the description of bad stands. There are many single rings with 8mm bolts in the upper Cima Montagna. The high spots are all equipped with 2 rings with 10mm bolts.

Valmontina is a beautiful great canyon with practically no dangerous narrow sections. There are a few jumps and smaller rappels up to a maximum of approx. 20m. It took us about 1h 45min from Bosco Bello. All abseiling points are equipped with rings and 10mm bolts. The higher points with 2 rings.

To Fimbi's post. The first high 60m rappel is a 75m cascade with a wonderful chain anchor under a ledge ortographic left. i.e. 15m and then 60m. If you don't take it, it won't work out. The rusty "intermediate stands" are diverters so that you can bypass the water at high water levels.

Went on a guided tour with Lucky. Stands tip top. We did a part of com inferiore and then got off after the 30m rappel under the bridge and the following slide ortographic left. There are anchors and new fixed ropes. You come out directly at the patkplatz and do not need a shuttle car.

Very nice vertical alternative tour if there is otherwise too much water. Swisstopo is highly recommended. At the beginning it is quite a search until you find the path, then it is super well marked. At 560m you have to leave the well-marked path before the wire insurance to gain altitude. The path you branched off onto to gain altitude is then immediately visible and marked again. The tour is very well set up. ATTENTION at the last large cascade or. Keep RIGHT in the direction of the main water flow, as described, otherwise you will miss the 50m stand. For all those who, like us, do not read the description thoroughly, there is now a sling with a majon link 😉 near a tree in the wall, ortographic left. However, this is relatively difficult to reach and not recommended! So read the description 😉

Have attached a rope for a diverter to the 2nd 60. Pro Canyon's standard setup is that there are 2 glued anchors with rope on the right, so you don't necessarily have to rope into the water, although that's not a problem. Everything is still tip top

Walked the canyon faster than usual today. We were through in 2.25 hours by car. But that's quite a limit and you have to say that we wanted to try it out and see what happens if you know the canyon very well. Stands all tip top, many jumps doable.

Went up the Rio Bianco today. Drilled some new rings and replaced old slings. It was very nice, the canyon should be climbed after long periods of rain because otherwise it is dry.

Walked the canyon today. I have slightly adapted the description and added the coordinates of the parking lots. Description fits very well. Brusnik is narrow with layered limestone but there is a lot of turbidity in the water. Nevertheless interesting and geologically beautiful. The hook quality is moderate and you should have an emergency bait set with you. As soon as you get into the Rocica, the water quality suddenly improves with very nice individual spots with a few jumps and rappels and the highlight - the 60m waterfall into the deep blue basin. The quality of the water in the Rocica is much better than in the Brusnik. Allegedly there is nothing above the mouth of the Brusnik except for a rappel (possibly a jump). But there should be the possibility to climb up just before the Brusnik joins the Rocica ortographic right of the Via Ferrata and then enter the Rocica just before the beautiful single pitch (we didn't do this, but I looked at it on the map afterwards).

All the stands are tip top after the floods in the fall. In the Tralba, everything you want to jump was jumpable. Apparently the fall floods have "dug up" the Alba more. At the moment it is not possible to jump in the lower part of the Alba (after you come into the Alba from the Tralba) because everything is full of gravel.

The stream is called Volarja after the confluence of the Brinta and Malenscek rivers. Beautiful but challenging tour (rappel directly in the water, difficult rappel at the 100m waterfall). We drilled 2 new rings at the 70m rappel. The entry for this canyon was made on the basis of this ascent. The other Volarja entry refers to the start via Malenscek.

All stands ok. After the floods in October and November, both canyons (Chiantone and Vinadia) are beautifully polished white. We had 2 dead animals in the Chiantone, but these were not a problem due to the low temperatures. Otherwise, the Chiantone is relatively clean for once, thanks to the high water levels in Friuli in October and November. Two of us spent exactly 4 hours in the canyon. Especially with the temperatures (we had -2 °C at the start), not to be underestimated, because no light falls into the Chiantone and the Vinadia in the narrow part is also without sun and so you should wrap up well ;-)

Very beautiful gorge, wonderful in the fall due to the southern exposure, but be sure to go after rainfall. You can check the water level down by the parking lot at the filling station.

It was possible to spit everything during our walk. In total we have needed 2:10 car-car. We parked at the top of the sports field and walked back (35 min). In the gorge, about 200m after the end of the 2nd narrows, you come to a large stone with an arrow on it (See photo). After that, the clearly visible path or. left leads out.

Very beautiful canyon, well combined with Col del Pes and Cirosolin. All the stands in perfect condition. Geologically very interesting because of the beautiful limestone strata. But also such a must-do. Partly very narrow cut and beautiful passages. We were a very good team and were in 1.5h car-car through.

Exit description adapted to actual Gegenbenheiten (time information was not correct). My recommendation to stay in the creek bed, you have 5 min longer to go, but not uphill in the bushes. The only disadvantage is that you have to shutteln about 10min longer. Have drilled at the 40m rappel below a ring to be able to build a cable car (the old one was gone). Otherwise everything Tiptop. Photos added of the first rappel regarding water level control. Here the walk was ok, only at the 40m rappel we have built the ropeway for not so experienced, because but much water pressure was during the abseiling.

Was walked and renovated by us. The path to Sfonderat is when you leave the 640 path very slippery through the beech leaves and quite exposed (see pictures). The path no longer leads directly into the stream, but you go until you are practically at the gorge, here comes a spring or. r. pure. Rappel down from the tree about 40m into the gorge. At first it is dry, but after about 150m water comes in. Some jumps, a slide of about 8m. Some rappels Absolutely beautiful canyon
