The official parking lot was full, about 500m further you can drive down at the church to a paid parking lot (7h costs about CHF 15.-). We were 5 people, 6.5 hours for access and ascent. At the beginning very grippy and not slippery, towards the exit where the canyon is cut more slippery. If you have a practiced eye, you will also find some jumps (2 to approx. 10m). Once you have parked at the bottom, you can return to the car at the exit to the left of the stream.

In July, MO-FR from 8:30-12:00 and 13:30-17:00, the road between the start/exit of Bodengo 2 is closed (the slope stabilization above the road is currently being done, see photo). The diversion in the canyon with the yellow rope (information also at the changing cabins) cannot be overlooked at rappel #4. Apart from the place where it is closed, everything is superiore!

We climbed via the Val Acla Mulin suspension bridge. Rock very grippy and all jumps/slides are easy to do. Comfortable with jumps/slides repeat 4.5h (entry-exit).

The canyon was entered and set up on 14.08.2023. 36 hours later, on the night of 15.08. to 16.08.2023, there was a storm that caused so much water that the entire access bridge was washed away. It must therefore be assumed that one or two of the fuses were damaged. A drilling set should always be taken with you when you visit the site again.

This was the first time we had been canyoning in this canyon (always one fixed point, except for the 40-meter rappel, where there are two fixed points). According to various researches, the Liechtenstein Mountain Rescue Service had been in the canyon twice before for exercises. The canyon impresses with its long access and its size and depth (see YouTube video in the links). Unfortunately, there is a very high risk of falling rocks due to the loose and brittle rock in the region. During the approximately 2.5 hours we spent in the canyon, stones larger than a fist came down twice. For canyonists with a connection to the area, the canyon is certainly exciting, but otherwise not particularly recommended due to the high risk of falling rocks.

Water crystal clear as always. Everything doable except for the S8 at C22.

Don't be surprised if no water flows at the exit parking lot, it seeps away completely 100m further up. S8 at C22 is only about 1.5m deep. But you can take S3/S4 on the right. At R4/S4 jump into the pool on the right (about 1.5m deep), on the left there is also a small pool (not checked how deep) which probably has a kind of siphon because of the large boulder under which it pushes the water through. R4 after T7 is now a S3 (pool about 3m deep). Shortly afterwards there is another S6 on the right (pool approx. 4m deep). At T10+S2 you lightly touch the bottom of the pool. The tree trunk at T10+S2 according to the photo in Swiss Alps 2.0 is now gone, so you can make an S15 there (before T10+S2 up to the right, jump off at a large fir tree). Otherwise everything as in the topographic view. Everything can be repeated from the C22.
