Checking the water level is very important. As soon as water is flowing at all slide brakes, the tour is not advisable. The attached photo of the exit should serve as a reference for a feasible water level.

Nice canyon, more reminiscent of a canyon in the jungle. Access via the Levada do Seixal is no problem. In the canyon itself there is a spot with lots of trees. The pools are all very shallow and the rocks are sharp-edged. The last third is really beautiful. The placement of the belays on Madeira is really special: high rappels are often only accessible as intermediate belays and then free-hanging.

Water slightly above normal, but no problem. A very well insured canyon, which is also very scenic and tactically varied.

As part of the canyon guide training, the waterfall (18m, left) above the bridge at the entrance was set up with simple bolted hooks (see photo) Otherwise, the canyon is as described: some walking passages and shorter rappels, then two larger rappels at the end.

Beautiful day tour with suitably rated engagement. Lots of sliding opportunities in a wild canyon. About halfway through the tour (rappel #11, numbering ascending) fairly clogged, making some stands difficult to access. In addition, a relatively fresh rock fall.

From the rock a super beautiful canyon. With clear water, a lot of climbing and jumping or sliding can be done. The stands are partly without chains, but as described also not always necessary to use. Under the railroad bridge before the last rappel is already 14 days a dead goat; here simply pay attention when water contact 😉✌🏼

Described approach is easy to find. The "parking spaces" at the church in Roveredo are very rare (max. 3 pcs.), otherwise there is a little before in the village but more official parking. Super water level. All jumps were well doable.

From the top walked, whereby (with the experience now) the variant two is highly recommended; the 20min shuttlen they can be confidently saved. Otherwise, a beautiful gorge with very relaxed water level. Is well suited for a half-day tour (about 2.5-3h)

Beautiful gorge, which is in good condition because of / thanks to the also commercial walks. Good protection, rappelling is possible both in and next to the stream.
