Im oberen Teil viel Eis, ab dem eingeschnittenen Teil wenig. Die meisten Stände gut zugänglich. Grödel, Eispickel (v.a. für Zustieg!) und Bohrset notwendig. Wasserstandsbild anbei.
Lots of ice in the upper part, little from the incised part onwards. Most of the stands are easily accessible. Grödel, ice axe (especially for access!) and drill set necessary. Water level picture attached.

v3a1 Erster Abseiler links am Baum auf 3Meter höhe. Dann mehrheitlich Bohrhakenstände. 2Neue Haken gebohrt. Letzter Abseiler mit Fidelstick an einem Fallholzbaum. Teilweise Holz im Bach. 2*30 Meter Seil reicht locker. Wir haben unten trockene Kleidung deponiert. Mit dem Auto dann zum Einstieg. Zum Schluss hoch gelaufen. Die Schlucht ist perfekt für ein Cleanbegung
v3a1 First rappel on the left side of the tree at a height of 3 meters. Then mostly bolt stands. 2New anchors drilled. Last rappel with fidelstick on a fall tree. Partly wood in the stream. 2*30 meter ropes are enough. We left dry clothes at the bottom. Then by car to the entry. Walked up at the end. The canyon is perfect for a cleanbegung

Perfekte Bedingungen. Keine Grödel nötig. Felssturz beim 7. Abseiler, aber keine Probleme.
Perfect conditions. No grödel necessary. Rock fall on the 7th rappel, but no problems.

Kein Eis und nur sehr wenig Schnee in der Schlucht. Da die Stände vielerorts nahe am Wasser gebohrt sind, sind einige Muttern lose gewesen. Ansonsten aktuell gute Bedingungen.
No ice and very little snow in the canyon. As the stands are drilled close to the water in many places, some nuts were loose. Otherwise good conditions at the moment.

Water flow of about 150 l/s; some anchors are unusable because they cannot be reached, they are up to 3 meters high. We placed an anchor on river right at the first rappel. Five or six belay stations need to be fixed. The locations of the upstream and downstream parking areas are reversed

Aktuell kein Eis. Fels sehr rutschig. Für Zustieg können Grödel ggf. von Vorteil sein.
Currently no ice. Rock very slippery. Grödel may be an advantage for access.

It is not possible to enter the tunnel through the gate anymore, but it is possible to enter the tunnel through the balcony which you can see in the tunnel around 170m from the gate. From the gate you follow the contour leveled path on the right side of the tunnel, slightly up and down to the ridge (~170m). Continue climbing the path up the ridge until you reach the vegetation border (forest) and then keep walking slightly right just above the cliff for about 50m until you see the rock on the photo. There is an indistinct path following the base of this rock face which you take all the way down to the gully where I put an anchor left on the rock face. It takes 45m of rope to abseil down the gully covered with grass and trees directly into the tunnel balcony. If you only have shorter ropes it is possible to use the trees to split the abseil.

Leider richtig viele und eklige Kadaver im Chiantone. Schafe, Kühe, Schwein und Reh geben sich momentan ein Stelldichein.... Ansonsten war der Canyon top wenn es einen bei so viel totem Getier nicht ekelt 😉 Alle Stände sind tip top
Unfortunately, there are a lot of disgusting carcasses in Chiantone. Sheep, cows, pigs and deer are currently having a rendezvous.... Otherwise the canyon was great if you're not disgusted by so many dead animals 😉 All the stalls are tip top

Beim Zustieg und in der Schlucht keine Grödel nötig. Etwas Eis beim höchsten Abseiler. Leiderwieder mehr Holz in der Schlucht.
No grödel required for access and in the canyon. Some ice on the highest rappel. Unfortunately more wood in the canyon.
