Von Cilaos nehmen wir die D 242 Richtung Ilet Dijoux und Ilet à Cordes..Wir fahren auf der RN5 in nördlicher Richtung aus Cilaos heraus. Wir stoßen auf die D241 (bei "Les Thermes") und fahren von hier 4,2 km bis zur Brücke über den Bras Rouge. Hier stellen wir in der Nähe unser Auto ab.
From Cilaos we take the D242 direction Ilet Dijoux and Ilet à Cordes..We drive north out of Cilaos on the RN5. We meet the D241 (at "Les Thermes") and from here we drive 4.2 km to the bridge over the Bras Rouge. Here we park our car nearby.

Über Bras Rouge Superieur eingestiegen ("La Cathedrale" sehr lohnenswert, aber nochmal deutlich längerer Zustieg).
Stände in gutem Zustand. Fast überall Empfang. Wasserstandsbild anbei (von der Brücke neben dem Parkplatz aus).
Accessed via Bras Rouge Superieur ("La Cathedrale" very worthwhile, but again much longer access).

We did integral (sup + med + inf), which is one of the most beautiful trips on La Reunion. not only big joungle verticals, but a real canyon with rock walls and nice pools. Also the only one that was not slippery! Approach: 2 hours; canyon: 5 hours; retour: 10 mins; excellent equipment; the "med" part is the most enclosed and beautiful part and the inf is the logical contiuation (should not be a separate canyon)
