Drive in direction of the village Jalpa and stop at the bridge crossing the river before town. You can park right next to the bridge. Move the other car at least to the Comala village, better even down a dirt road close to the canyon exit. There is a river crossing, park just before the crossing.

Enter the Canyon at the bridge on the right side.

The canyon carries quite some water, most of the time you are not exposed to the full water flow but at some spots on high water levels it will become interresting. In the first part of the trip you will do some bolder hopping with nice pools in between, in the lower part you will find most of the highlights which can be repeated mostly. Walk back on the car trail first following the river on the left side, then cross the river and get to the car you parked there before. Alternatively walk up the gravel road to the village in case you haven’t parked the car.
