Von Tarvisio auf der SS13 oder Autobahn A23 bis Abfahrt Pontebba. Dann das Kanaltal weiter in Richtung Süden folgen. Ca. 1,5Km nach den Häusern von Vidali sieht man eine Fußgängerbrücke die über die Fella führt. Ca. 100m danach gibt es bei Straßenkilometer 187V (re) einen Parkplatz. Hier parken.

From Tarvisio on the SS13 or A23 highway to the Pontebba exit. Then follow the canal valley southwards. Approx. 1.5km after the houses of Vidali you will see a pedestrian bridge over the Fella. Approx. 100m after this there is a parking lot at road kilometer 187V (right). Park here.

Vom Parkplatz aus geht man ca. 100m zur Fußgängerbrücke mit der Wandertafel „Cadramazzo“. Diese überqueren und weiter rechts auf den Weg, vorbei am Autobahnparkplatz bis zum Radweg. Hier folgt man dem Wanderweg 619 Patocco/Raccolana (li) steil nach oben bis zum Marterl. Gleich hinter dem Marterl steigt man auf ca. 500m in den Bach ein (Holzbalken mit Seilgeländer).

From the parking lot, walk about 100m to the pedestrian bridge with the "Cadramazzo" hiking sign. Cross this and continue right on the path, past the highway parking lot to the bike path. Here you follow the trail 619 Patocco/Raccolana (on the left) steeply uphill until you reach the wayside shrine. Immediately behind the wayside shrine, you enter the stream for about 500m (wooden beams with rope traverse).

Die Schlucht beginnt gleich mit einer spitzigen 55m Abseilstelle. Um sicher zum Standplatz (li) zu gelangen verwendet man am Besten den Kettenstand Marke Eigenbau am großen Felsblock um ein abziehbares Seilgeländer aufzubauen. Der Stand besteht aus 2 neuen Bohrhaken über den im Wasser abgeseilt wird. Das Ankunftsbecken ist groß und meist stark zugekiest. Am li Beckenrand wartet auch schon die zweite und letzte 40m Abseilstelle. Meist unter Beobachtung von schaulustigen Radfahrern seilt man sich li im Wasserstrahl, alternativ re außerhalb der Wasserführung, ab. (re alter Standplatz! ). Ausstieg auf ca. 400m.

The canyon begins immediately with a sharp 55m abseil. To get safely to the belay station (left), it is best to use the chain anchor on the large boulder to set up a removable rope traverse. The stand consists of 2 new bolts via which rappels are made in the water. The arrival pool is large and usually heavily gravelled. The second and final 40m abseil point is already waiting at the left edge of the pool. Mostly watched by onlooking cyclists, you rappel left in the water jet, alternatively right outside the water flow. (old belaystation on the right! ). Exit at approx. 400m.

1. Variante: Die letzten Meter/Stufen zur Fella werden abgeklettert. An der Fella angekommen sucht man eine geeignete Stelle den Fluss zu überqueren. Am Besten visiert man die Brücke über den etwas weiter unten einmündenden Baches an. Hier kurz hoch und auf der stillgelegten Straße zurück zum Parkplatz beim Straßenkilometer 187V. 2. Variante: Nach dem 2. Abseiler folgt man den blauen Punkten zurück zur Fusshängerbrücke. So erspart man sich die Felladurchquerung, falls diese zu viel Wasser führt.

1st variation: Downclimb the last meters/steps to the Fella. Once at the Fella, look for a suitable place to cross the river. It is best to aim for the bridge over the stream that flows into the river a little further down. Climb up here briefly and follow the disused road back to the parking lot at road kilometer 187V. 2nd variation: After the 2nd rappel, follow the blue dots back to the foot suspension bridge. This saves you having to cross the fell if there is too much water.
