Von Biasca fährt man über die Autobahn oder über die Bundesstraße Richtung San Gotthard --> kommt man von der Autobahn fährt man bei Faido ab --> re Richtung Lavorgo --> nach 400m auf der Bundestraße re abbiegen --> über den Fluss und unter der Autobahn durch --> am Ende der Straße li entlang der schmalen Straße bis zum Wasserfall (hier li am Schotter parken!). Kommt man von der Bundesstraße fährt man nach der Ortschaft Lavorgo weiter Richtung Norden bis zur oben erwähnten Einfahrt (der sich in diesen Fall li befindet!). Mit Shuttelauto gelangt man über die schmale Straße (parallel zur Autobahn) in den Ort Nivo --> hier weiter über die Bergstraße bis zu der ersten Häusergruppe --> hier re weiter Richtung Gribbio --> über die noch schmälere und steilere Bergstraße gelangt man zu einem Bildstock und 2 Steinhäuser auf der li Seite --> hier parken (ca. 1070Hm).

From Biasca take the highway or the main road in the direction of San Gotthard --> if you leave the highway, turn off at Faido --> turn right in the direction of Lavorgo --> after 400m turn right on the main road --> cross the river and go under the highway --> at the exit turn left along the narrow road to the waterfall (park here on the gravel on the left!). If you come from the highway, after the village of Lavorgo, continue north until you reach the entrance mentioned above (which in this case is on the left!). With a shuttle car you reach the narrow road (parallel to the highway) to the village of Nivo --> here continue along the mountain road to the first group of houses --> here on the right continue in the direction of Gribbio --> along the even narrower and steeper mountain road you reach a wayside shrine and 2 stone houses on the left side --> park here (approx. 1070Hm).

Von den Häusern geht man re über die Wiese in Richtung der Hochspannungsmasten, wo sich auch schon eine Warntafel und der Abstiegsweg zeigen. Ab hier folgt man den Weg steil bergab durch den lichten Wald, bis zur Wehranlage auf 960Hm. Pegelstand kontrollieren!!!

From the houses, go right across the meadow towards the high-voltage pylons, where a warning sign and the descent path are already visible. From here, follow the path steeply downhill through the sparse forest to the weir at 960Hm. Check the water level!

An der automatischen Wasserfassung angekommen (960Hm) gelangt man über das Geländer mit einem kurzen Seil zum 1. Stand (re) (Sollte das Wasser im Becken schon überlaufen kann die Schlucht unberechenbar werden) --> die Schlucht beginnt offen mit mehreren unterschiedlich hohen Abseilstellen und kurze Gehpassagen --> der Mittelteil fängt mit einer schönen Rinne an in der man 30m abseilt --> die darauf folgenden Stellen können meist gerutscht oder gesprungen werden (Achtung! auf Holz in Gumpen) --> ist man sich nicht sicher, sollte besser abgeseilt werden --> am Schlussabschnitt angekommen hat man eine wunderschöne Aussicht ins Tal --> hier fängt der spektakulärste Teil der Schlucht an --> die bevorstehenden ca. 150Hm werden in 6 Abschnitten bewältigt; C10 (S8), C20, C36, R30, R38, R45 (gute, sichere Seiltechnik sind hier absolut Voraussetzung!) --> unten angekommen werden die letzen Felsblöcke abgeklettert, bevor man auf 650Hm im Bachbett vor der Brücke steht.

Arrived at the automatic water catchment (960Hm) you get over the railing with a short rope to the 1st stand (r) (If the water in the basin is already overflowing the canyon can become unpredictable) --> the canyon begins open with several rappel points of different heights and short walking passages --> the middle section begins with a beautiful chute in which you rappel 30m --> the following places can mostly be slid or jumped (Attention! on wood in pools) --> if you are not sure, it is better to rappel --> at the end you have a beautiful view into the valley --> here begins the most spectacular part of the canyon --> the upcoming ca. 150Hm are mastered in 6 parts; C10 (S8), C20, C36, R30, R38, R45 (good, safe rope technique are absolutely required here!) --> arrived at the bottom, the last boulders are downclimbed, before you stand on 650Hm in the streambed before the bridge.

Auf der li Seite nach den großen Felsbrocken gelangt man in Kürze zum Parkplatz (650Hm).
