Die hier vorgestellte Tour ist eine Kombination zweier Canyons. Der Wieslergraben der sich anfangs romantisch durch den Wald zieht, fällt immer steiler werdend in den RussbachCanyon ab. Der letzte Abbruch des Wieslergraben ist ein 140m hoher Wasserfall (bei geringem Wasserstand trocken) wobei man aber vorher relativ bequem aussteigen kann. Im RußbachCanyon angelangt kommt man in eine ganz andere Landschaft die Canyoningherzen höher schlagen läßt. Tief und schmal eingeschnitten zieht sich der Bach seinen Weg bis zum Ausstieg. Hier ist besonders auf das Wetter zu achten, da es im Rußbach keine Ausstiegsmöglichkeit gibt. Im Jahr 1999 mußten zwei Begeher mit dem Hubschrauber geborgen werden.

Mit dem Auto auf der Westautobahn bei Regau abfahren, weiter Richtung Salzburg und in Weißenbach (ca. 10 Kilometer nach Bad Ischl) in Richtung Postalm abfahren (Mautstraße 30.- pro Auto und 40.- pro Person). Nun kann ein Auto in der ersten großen Rechtskehre beim Ausstieg geparkt werden. Mit dem zweiten Auto setzt man die fahrt in Richtung Postalm fort. Nach der Braunalm auf der linken Straßenseite kommt auf der rechten Seite ein kleiner Parkplatz wo das Auto abgestellt wird.

By car on the Westautobahn exit at Regau, continue towards Salzburg and in Weißenbach (about 10 kilometers after Bad Ischl) exit towards Postalm (toll road 30.- per car and 40.- per person). Now one car can be parked in the first big rightward haipin bend at the exit. With the second car you continue the journey in the direction of Postalm. After the Braunalm on the left side of the road there is a small parking lot on the right side where the car is parked.

You descend from the parking lot directly into the Wieslergraben.

Die erste Hälfte des Wieslergrabens ist als Wandercanyon zu bezeichnen. Nach einem 6m Wasserfall und einem Gehstück, gelangt man zu einem 10m Wasserfall wo sich die Kette aber 10m weiter oben auf einer Felswand befindet. Es folgt eine Rutsche die aber nur bei viel Wasser ihrem Namen gerecht wird. Man folgt gemütlich dem Bach bis zu einem verblockten Wasserfall wo sich auf der rechten Seite ein Seil befindet das zu einem Baum führt von dem abgeseilt werden kann. Es folgt eine 3m Rutsche, bei der auch ein Fixseil eingerichtet ist, und einige Tümpel ehe der Canyon plötzlich immer steiler abbricht. Man kommt zu einer Kette von der aus über zwei Wasserfälle abgeseilt wird. Die nächste Kaskade kann rechts abgeklettert werden. Nun blickt man weiter in die Tiefe und seilt zunächst 36m, dann 17m ab (letzterer kann auch rechts abgeklettert werden). Dieser Teil der Schlucht kann auch bei hohem Wasserstand begangen werden, wobei hier bequem ausgestiegen werden kann. Man braucht nur dem Wegweiser zur "Blonden Hütte" nachgehen und dann dem Karrenweg bergauf zurück zur Postalmstraße folgen. \nBei geringerem Wasserstand kann man über den 140m hohen Wasserfall an mehreren ausgesetzten Ständen in den RussbachCanyon weiter abseilen. Die günstigste Abseilkombination ist sicherlich mit 2 mal 50-Meter-Seilen in drei Etappen in die Schlucht zu rauschen. Die Abstände der einzelen Kettenstände sind dem Topo zu entnehmen.\nDem RußbachCanyon folgend gelangt man zu einem C5 Wasserfall der bei wenig Wasser abgeklettert, oder von der rechten Seite von einer Kette abgeseilt werden kann. Bei der folgenden Verblockung ist ein Fixseil eingerichtet, das beim Abstieg behilflich sein kann. Nach einigen Felsblöcken, die alle abgeklettert werden, gelangt man wieder zu einem Fixseil über das 5m abgeseilt wird. Der Canyon klingt mit einigen schönen Schwimmpassagen aus, von denen man noch ca. 20 min bis zu einer Wildbachverbauung benötigt.

The first half of the Wieslergraben can be described as a hiking canyon. After a 6m waterfall and a walking section, you reach a 10m waterfall where the chain is located 10m further up on a rock wall. A slide follows, which only lives up to its name when there is a lot of water. You follow the stream until you reach a blocked waterfall where there is a rope on the right side that leads to a tree from which you can rappel. A 3m slide follows, where there is also a fixed rope, and some pools before the canyon suddenly becomes steeper and steeper. You come to a chain from which you can rappel over two waterfalls. The next cascade can be downclimbed on the right. Now you look further into the depth and rappel first 36m, then 17m (the latter can also be downclimbed on the right). This part of the canyon can be climbed even when the water level is high, and it is easy to get out here. You only have to follow the signpost to the "Blonden Hütte" and then follow the cart track uphill back to the Postalm road. \nWhen the water level is low, you can continue rappeling over the 140m high waterfall at several exposed stands into the RussbachCanyon. The most favorable abseiling combination is certainly to rush into the canyon in three stages with 2 x 50-meter ropes. The distances of the individual chain anchors can be taken from the topographic view.\nFollowing the RussbachCanyon, one reaches a C5 waterfall which can be rappelled downclimbed when there is little water, or from the right side from a chain. At the following blocking a fixed rope is set up, which can be helpful in the descent. After some boulders, which are all rappelled down, you reach again a fixed rope over which you rappel 5m. The canyon ends with some beautiful swimming passages, from which it takes about 20 min to reach a torrent.

Auf der orographisch rechten Seite des Flußbettes gelangt man durch den Wald zu einer Forststraße der man flußabwärts bis zum geparkten Auto folgt. Ist man nur mit einem Auto unterwegs muß man entweder über den gekennzeichneten Wanderweg zum Auto zurückkehren, oder man Stoppt.

On the orographic right side of the riverbed, through the forest, you reach a forest road that you follow downstream to the parked car. If you are only traveling with one car, you must either return to the car via the marked hiking trail, or you stop.
