Man kann beim Jaglingbach nur den unteren Teil gehen ; welcher um einiges kürzer ist. 2021 & 2022 war dieser Teil gut eingerichtet und im Frühjahr mit Schmelzwasser durchaus lohnenswert. Sehr verblocktes Gelände (viele Bäume); sehr rutschig; einige Stellen können im Wald umgangen werden; meiste Sonne mittags; kaltes Wasser; wenige einzelne Bohrhaken (Notmaterial mitnehmen); dunkle Gumpen; sauberes Wasser.

Autobahn bis Mondsee ---> Bundesstraße re. Bad Ischl --> durch Tunnel --> 2. Ausfahrt re. Bad Goisern --> gerade aus bis zur ersten Ausfahrt (Rettenbachtal) --> nach dem Kreisverkehr Beschilderung Rettenbachalm folgen --> nach der Brücke (Rettenbach), Bergstraße hoch --> zuerst auf Asphaltstraße dann auf der Schotterstraße bis zum Schranken vor der Alm fahren (ca. 636Hm) --> Parkplatz vor dem Schranken.

Freeway to Mondsee ---> Bundesstraße r. Bad Ischl --> through tunnel --> 2nd exit r. Bad Goisern --> straight on to the first exit (Rettenbachtal) --> after the traffic circle follow the signs Rettenbachalm --> after the bridge (Rettenbach), mountain road up --> first on asphalt road then on the gravel road to the barrier in front of the alp (approx. 636Hm) --> parking in front of the barrier.

Nach vor den Häusern links abbiegen und den Weg orthogr. rechts bergauf folgen. Nach ein paar Kurven - in einer scharfen links Kurve (von rechts kommt der spätere Austiegsweg herauf) Nach der scharfen Linkskurve zweigt gleich rechts ein Pfad steil nach oben ab . Diesen eher beschwerlich folgen (2022 erschwerten speziel weiter oben viel umgefallenen Bäumen den Zustieg). Den Pfad ca.15 min folgen bis er abflacht und man den Bach erreicht .(ca35 min) Hier einsteigen. Alte Beschreibung / ganze Tour: Der Forststraße am Schranken vorbei kurz folgen -->man geht über die kleine Brücke die über den Jaglingbach führt (Wasserstand Kontrolle) --> an der Beschilderung (‘Gamskogel und Mitteralm’) den Markierten Weg an der kl. Alm vorbei folgen --> nach dem letzten Holzhaus re. steil hinauf durch den Wald --> dieser Weg ist die Abkürzung zur Forststraße die man mehrmals überquert --> nach ca. 1h ist man auf ca.1200m an der Forststraßegabelung angekommen --> hier folgt man der Forststraße li. bergab bis zum Bach mit kl. Übergang (Durchflussrohr) --> Einstieg auf ca.1140m.

After the houses turn left and follow the path orthogr. right uphill. After a few bends - in a sharp left bend (from the right comes the later exit path up). After the sharp left turn, a path branches off immediately to the right, steeply uphill. Follow this rather arduous (2022 complicated speziel further up much fallen trees the access). Follow the path for about 15 minutes until it flattens out and you reach the stream (about 35 minutes). Old description / whole tour: Follow the forest road past the barrier briefly -->you go over the small bridge that leads over the Jaglingbach (water level control) --> at the sign ('Gamskogel and Mitteralm') follow the marked path past the small alp --> after the last wooden house right steeply up through the forest --> this path is the shortcut to the forest road which you cross several times --> after about 1h you are at approx.1200m at the fork in the forest road --> follow the forest road on the left downhill to the stream with a small crossing (flow-through pipe) --> entry at approx.1140m.

2022 war der Canyon ab Zustieg unterer Teil gut eingerichtet und durchaus lohnenswert. Eher im Frühjahr oder nach Regen machen . (ca 2std) Alte Beschreibung >ganzer Canyon : Am Einstieg angekommen läuft das Wasser meist unterirdisch weiter --> man geht im trockenen Bachbett ca. 100m --> danach kommt eine schöne durch den Gletscher und Wasser entstandene Felskarrenplatte die man ca. 50m absteigt --> es folgen kl. Gumpen (re. umgehbar) --> weitere 30m abklettern --> flache Gehstrecke im Bachbett ca. 200m bis zur alten Klause (Holzbalken) --> ab hier wird es rutschig --> mehrere kurze Kletter- und Gehpassagen --> im oberen Teil der Schlucht gibt es viele kl. rutschige Stufen die über Bäume abgeseilt werden oder im Wald umgangen werden --> die Gumpen laden nicht unbedingt zum Springen ein --> mehrere Holzstämme erschweren ein zügiges vorankommen --> in der Schluchtenmitte kommt der interessanteste Teil der Tour --> R14 (li.) über Klebehaken --> rutschige Geh- und Kletterpassagen --> Zufluss von re. -->abklettern und gehen --> schöne Auswaschungen --> es geht an einer alten Brücke vorbei zu den höchsten Abseilstellen C28 (li.) (unterteilbar C15 li.+C15 re.) --> große Felsplatte (li.) ca. 30m abklettern oder C26 (re.) durch Engstelle! --> li. Abklettern bis zum R14 (li.) --> abklettern --> R18 (li.) (R14 u.R18 im Überhang) --> C20 (li.) --> gehen und ab klettern (Rutschen?) --> im unteren Teil der Tour kommt noch eine schöne schmale Wasserrinne/Felskarrenplatte mit einer Abseilstelle C20 (re.) --> nach dem Zufluss von (li.) ca. 500m gehen und ab klettern bis kurz vor der Brücke (Ausstieg 660Hm).

In 2022, the canyon was well established from access lower part and quite worthwhile. Rather in the spring or after rain make . (about 2h) Old description >whole canyon : Arrived at the entry, the water runs mostly underground --> you walk in the dry streambed about 100m --> then comes a beautiful by the glacier and water formed rock cart plate which you descend about 50m --> follow kl. Pools (can be bypassed on the right) --> downclimb another 30m --> flat walking passages in the streambed about 200m to the old hermitage (wooden beams) --> from here it becomes slippery --> several short climbing and walking passages --> in the upper part of the canyon there are many small steps that descend over trees slippery steps that can be rappelled over trees or bypassed in the forest --> the pools do not necessarily invite to jump --> several logs make it difficult to progress quickly --> in the middle of the gorge comes the most interesting part of the tour --> R14 (le.) over glued anchors --> slippery walking and climbing passages --> inflow from the right --> downclimb and walk --> nice washouts --> it goes past an old bridge to the highest downclimb C28 (left) (divisible C15 left + C15 right) --> big rock slab (left) downclimb about 30m or C26 (right) through narrow passage! --> downclimb left to R14 (left) --> downclimb --> R18 (left) (R14 u.R18 in overhang) --> C20 (left) --> walk and climb down (slides?) --> in the lower part of the tour there is a nice narrow water gully/rock cart slab with an abseil C20 (right) --> after the inflow of (left) walk about 500m and climb down until shortly before the bridge (exit 660Hm).

Nach den Wasserrinne/Felskarrenplatte kann man nach rechts aussteigen retour zum Einstiegsweg oder weniger lohnend weitergehen Alte Beschreibung: Vor der Brücke li. aus dem Bach --> an den Hütten vorbei bis zur Forststraße absteigen --> auf der Forststraße re. zum Parkplatz zurück.

After the water gully/rock cart plate you can exit to the right return to the entry trail or continue less rewardingly Old description: Before the bridge on the left out of the stream --> past the huts down to the forest road --> on the forest road on the right back to the parking lot.
