B 178 nach Lofer, am zentralen Kreisel Richtung St. Martin, nach ~200 m links über die Saalach und sofort rechts über Scheffsnoth zum Wirtshaus Knappenstadl.\nUngefähr 30 m vor dem Parkplatz ist rechts neben der schmalen Straße Platz für 3 Autos.\nBitte so parken, dass der Verkehr nicht behindert wird oder beim Wirtshaus nachfragen, um auf deren Parkplatz zu parken.

Der Straße hinter einer Schranke folgen und ~80 m nach einem Geräteschuppen dem Wanderweg zur Kematsteinalm folgen. Hier schöner Blick auf den Wasserfall. Weiter Richtung Scheffsnother Alm. Nachdem die Höhe erreicht ist und man parallel zum Bach läuft, weglos zu diesem absteigen.

Follow the road behind a barrier and ~80 m after a tool shed follow the hiking trail to the Kematsteinalm. Here beautiful view of the waterfall. Continue in the direction of Scheffsnother Alm. After the height is reached and you walk parallel to the stream, descend to it without a path.

Sehr glitschig, verträgt auch mehr Wasser, Zwischenstand (nach 45 m, ~6 m r. der Falllinie) in der Wand für z.Z. 2 Personen - ausbaufähig. \nHohe Steinschlaggefahr in der Gumpe des 80-m-Wasserfalls: zum Abziehen und Warten rechts heraussteigen.

Nach den zwei kurzen Abseilern nach dem hohen WSF. und ~100 Metern Blockgelände, vor einem kleinen Abbruch links im Wald 100 Höhenmeter nahe dem Bach absteigen bis man zu einen weiterem ~3 m hohen WSF kommt, auf dessen rechter Seite ein Pfad erkennbar ist.\nNach wenigen Metern erkennt man eine verwachsene Forststraße. Diese abwärts - 2 x den Bach querend - bis ein Wegweiser zum Knappenstadel zeigt. Hier in ~5 Min. zum Auto
