Trotzdem sollte das Notbohrset immer dabei sein, weil durch den Bach teilweise massives Geschiebe durchkommt und immer wieder Stände wegreißt. Der Einstieg des Canyons erfolgt über einen Nebenbach mit einer Abseilstelle, ehe man zum Zusammenfluss mit dem Ciol del Pes kommt (höchster Wasserfall 50m). Schöne Abseilstellen, teilweise direkt im Wasser.

Nevertheless, you should always have an emergency drill kit with you, as the stream can carry massive debris and repeatedly tear away stands. The entry to the canyon is via a side stream with an abseil point before you reach the confluence with the Ciol del Pes (highest waterfall 50m). Beautiful abseils, some directly in the water.

Von Claut ca. 30 Min ins Val Sentimana reinfahren. Am Parkplatz von Ciorosolin vorbei. Der Schlusswasserfall von Ciol del Pes ist von der Straße aus ersichtlich und ist der Gleiche wie für den Ciol de la Meda. Achtung bei der Einfahrt ins Val Sentimana! Abhängig von der Jahreszeit und dem Tag muss für die Einfahrt in Tal gezahlt werden (wird kontrolliert).

From Claut drive into Val Sentimana for about 30 minutes. Pass the parking lot of Ciorosolin. The final waterfall of Ciol del Pes is visible from the road and is the same as for Ciol de la Meda. Be careful when entering Val Sentimana! Depending on the time of year and the day, you may have to pay to enter the valley (this is checked).

Auf der orographischen linken Seite des Wasserfalls beginnt der CAI-Weg Nr. 366 (direkt beim Parkplatz; Hinweis C.ra Pramaggiore). Dem Weg immer folgen bis man nach ca. 35 Minuten zu einer Abzweigung kommt. Hier links abbiegen (Wegtafel: C.ra Pramaggiore) und für weitere 10 min bergab gehen bis man in den Nebenbach des Ciol del Pes kommt. Hier beginnt die Tour.

CAI trail no. 366 begins on the orographic left side of the waterfall (directly at the parking lot; sign C.ra Pramaggiore). Follow the path until you reach a fork after about 35 minutes. Turn left here (signpost: C.ra Pramaggiore) and walk downhill for a further 10 minutes until you reach the tributary of the Ciol del Pes. This is where the tour begins.

Im Nebenbach des Ciol del Pes gibt es einen Abseiler (ca 30m), danach folgt schon der Zusammenfluss mit Ciol del Pes. Hier gibt es 2 Möglichkeiten sich abzuseilen. Entweder beim Nebenfluss bleiben und über ein Seilgeländer zum Kettenstand und dann die 50m abseilen, oder in den Ciol del Pes runter abklettern und von dort aus abseilen. Es folgen mehrere Abseilstellen in einem engeren Klammbereich, ehe es dann wieder offener wird. Schöne Tour mit Abseilern teilweise zwingend im Wasser.

In the tributary of the Ciol del Pes there is a rappel (approx. 30m), followed by the confluence with the Ciol del Pes. There are 2 ways to rappel here. Either stay with the tributary and over a rope traverse to the chain anchor and then rappel the 50m, or downclimb into the Ciol del Pes and rappel from there. This is followed by several abseils in a narrower gorge area before it becomes more open again. Beautiful tour with some rappels in the water.
