Wir verlassen die Achenseestraße - B 181 - ostwärts auf die Stichstraße nach Steinberg. Weiter geht es nach Hinter(Ober-)steinberg. Die Hauptstraße macht einen Rechtsbogen und tangiert am südlichsten Punkt des Bogens den Waldrand (Bushaltestelle). Hier stellen wir unser Auto ab.
We leave the Achenseestraße - B 181 - eastward onto the spur road to Steinberg ( ). We continue to Hinter(Ober-)steinberg. The main road makes a right turn and tangents at the southernmost point of the bend to the edge of the forest (bus stop). Here we park our car.

Wir nehmen den Wanderweg (AV 412), der in den Wald hineinführt. Wir kommen auf eine gleichmäßig und nur leicht ansteigende Piste. Rechts und links abgehende Forstwege lassen wir unbeachtet. Nach etwa 3 km verzweigt sich die Piste. Links kommen wir schnell zum unteren Zustieg, rechts aufwärts erreichen wir nach etwa 1,5 km und noch vor der Jagdhütte den oberen Zustieg.
We take the trail (AV 412) that leads into the forest. We come to an even and only slightly ascending slope. We disregard the forest roads to the right and left. After about 3 km the track branches. On the left we quickly reach the lower access, on the right uphill we reach the upper access after about 1.5 km and still before the hunting lodge.

Zu Beginn Wanderung im Bachbett, dann eine meist verklauste Engstelle mit einer Sprungmöglichkeit und 2 kleineren Abseilern.
Dann kommen wir zur Straßenbrücke, wo der untere Einstieg erfolgt. Bald darauf der erste Abseiler (im Strahl). Auf der folgenden Bachwanderung (ca. 1h) einige weitere Abseiler ohne Sicherung, dazwischen immer wieder Abklettern. Bei Erreichen der Fußgängerbrücke folgen 4 eingerichtete Abseiler. Ausstieg bei der Geschiebebremse des von rechts kommenden Baches (Grundache).
At the beginning hike in the streambed, then a mostly gated narrows with a possible jumps and 2 smaller rappels.
Then we come to the road bridge, where the lower entry. Soon after, the first rappel (in the stream). On the following river walk (approx. 1h) some more rappels without belaying, in between downclimbing again and again. When you reach the pedestrian bridge, 4 rappels follow. Exit at the slide brake of the stream coming from the right (Grundache).

Leider nur unterster Teil interessant (letzte 4 Abseiler ab Steig Gaismoosstollen), und am Anfang eine schöne Stelle, ansonsten 1h Gehstrecke und lästige rutschige Baumkletterei! 2 Stände eingebohrt eher am Anfang der Schlucht, da keine vorhanden waren. Die Gumpen waren leider nicht tief genug zum Springen/Rutschen
Unfortunately, only the lowest part interesting (last 4 rappels from climb Gaismoosstollen), and at the beginning a nice place, otherwise 1h walking distance and annoying slippery tree climbing! 2 stands drilled rather at the beginning of the gorge, as none were available. The gullies were unfortunately not deep enough to jump / slide
