From Seefeld (Tyrol) drive in the direction of Mitterwald (DE). From Mittenwald continue towards Leutasch up the mountain road. (On the mountain road you pass the DE/AT border.) After the border you continue to Hubertushof (located between Lochlehn and Reindlau). At Hubertushof turn right and follow the forest road for 50m to the parking lot (several wooden crosses). Park here.

From the parking lot, follow the wide forest road past the cattle fence (iron gate) to the hiking sign "Bergleintal/Meilerhütte ". Here you follow the previously flat hiking trail 801 to the right, which after a short time becomes narrower and steeper through the sparse forest up to a spring. At the spring, follow the path to the right without a large difference in altitude. This leads at the end slightly sloping directly to the stream at 1200m.

The lower Berglein Gorge is ideal at normal water level for the first steps into the vertical canyoning world. But the canyon is also highly recommended for experienced canyoneers. After short walking passages in the shallow streambed, the canyon narrows. In the shapely narrow canyon, depending on the depth of the pools, small steps can be slid, jumped or rappelled. The max. 10m high rappel points are mostly rappelled in the water stream and can certainly become challenging when the water level is high. After the incised canyon section of about 1 hour, the canyon opens up. Here you also have several easier escapes from the canyon. In the now open lower gorge section there are some short, beautiful rappels and walking terrain in the shallow streambed until the water seeps into the wide streambed and you are at the exit of the tour (at about 1120m).
